Bangkok, Thailand

Over the last few weeks we have been spending some time in Bangkok willing or unwilling - that's what happens when you decide to go up and down the country a couple of times! First we passed through with Ewelina on our way to Chiang Mai, the second time met up with Jaime and picked up my sister Lina at the airport to go down to Koh Chang, and fourth to drop her off again as she went back to Sweden. Let's just say we know the busstations, taxidrivers and trains by now. Somehow we have still only managed to see the area around Khao San Road a. k. a. the Tourist Trap. The shopping is cheap, street food is nice and there's a lot of accomodation options, but there's not really that much more. We feel it's a bit of a shame that we didn't see more of the real Bangkok because surely it's a very interesting city... But maybe next time! As we're flying Bangkok - Katmandu in a couple of weeks we will for sure be back for a fifth time.

Here comes a mixture of the pictures we've been taking in this big, bustling Thai capital so far. There's food, street vendors, tuk-tuks, tourists, 7elevens and Burger Kings next to mango sticky rice and Pad Thai. Some pics are borrowed from Lina's camera and some from Ewelina's... Enjoy!

Babies don't always have the same reality... 12 Days old and already have to come with Mum to work!
