Orleans, France

Little article on Orleans, the city of "Jeanne d'Arc" where most of my friends and my sisters are living in.
Florent made us discovering new streets with a lot of grafs pretty amazing and being there during the spring is lovely! The architecture is pretty typical and it makes it very enjoyable to walk in the street or along the river "Loire".

Orleans' Cathedral (Cathédrale Sainte-Croix d'Orléans) is a Gothic Catholic Cathedral. It is the seat of the Bishop and it was built from 1278 to 1329 and 1601-1829 (after partial destruction in 1568).
The cathedral is probably most famous for its association with "Jeanne d'Arc". The French heroine attended evening Mass in this cathedral on May 2, 1429, while in the city to lift the siege.
The cathedral's stained glass windows now depict the story of Jeanne d'Arc.

Going out for a drink with some friends is an activity that we kind of forgot during our trip... nice to be back with you guys ;)

Back to France

After a lot of problems in the airport of Kathmandu because our flight was cancelled due to a bankrupt of Kingfisher Airlines, we finally made it back to France!
Happy to see all my family and friends again, we now enjoy relaxing in bed all day watching movies, walk around in the fields with the flowers blooming and the very green grass, and of course, eat way too much! (in 3weeks I'm already over 7kgs, and it's not finished yet!)

On that night we couldn't fly back home and didn't even have enough money to hit back to Kathmandu, neither eat or drink. Some really nice Nepalese helped us with the transfer back to Kathmandu and hosted us one night in a nice hotel and even fed us... People are great.
